We’re buzzing to welcome multi-instrumentalist and producer Emma-Jean Thackray to the Bullitt Lobby on Sat 8 March for a DJ set.
Emma-Jean is about to release her extraordinary second album ‘Weirdo’ on Gilles Peterson’s Brownswood label. Musically and creatively, ‘Weirdo’ bridges grunge, pop, soul and jazz, channelling George Clinton and Kurt Cobain – so we can’t wait to hear what Emma-Jean brings to the decks.
Emma-Jean is also a BBC6Music and Worldwide FM regular, and is currently taking over BBC Radio 3’s ‘Round Midnight’ for the week.
Entry is free as always, and we’ll be playing from 8.30pm to late.
