Six ways to beat the winter blues at Bullitt

We all know January and February are the most depressing months on your calendar. The Christmas decorations are down, those festive feels are so last year and don’t even get us started on Dry January. So we’re on a mission to cheer you up! Launching on Blue Monday (officially the most depressing day of the year), we’ve come up with a range of uplifting initiatives designed to kick those dreaded winter blues to the curb – from random acts of kindness to mindfulness, wellness workshops and even the chance to stay overnight with us for just £1. Read on to discover 6 great ways to beat the winter blues at Bullitt!

  1. Enjoy random acts of kindness and share the love

From Monday 21st January until the end of February, Bullitt’s top team will be dishing out random acts of kindness to unsuspecting customers, from freebie coffees to rooftop cocktails, delicious dinners and overnight stays. We can’t wait to brighten up your day with our Bullitt goodies and we want you to get in on the action too! Share the love this winter by doing a good deed for someone else in your life, no matter how big or small, and wait for those warm and fuzzy feelings to start flowing!

  1. Get a great night’s kip for only a quid!

We’re all a bit strapped for cash after Christmas, but never fear, our Kip for a Quid competition is here! We’re giving away 10 overnight stays for the princely sum of £1 this winter to 10 lucky winners. Stay in the heart of Belfast and enjoy some of the fab experiences our city has to offer! Our ‘Kip for a Quid’ competition kicks off on Blue Monday (21st January 2019) and runs until Friday 25th January 2019. Click here to enter.

  1. Rooftop yoga with city views

Relax, unwind and stretch it out this winter at our rooftop yoga classes in conjunction with Connect Yoga Belfast. Taking place every Tuesday and Thursday morning from 7am, both yoga rookies and veterans are invited to find their inner zen while taking in the panoramic city views during 60 minutes of undisturbed Vinyasa yoga by candlelight at Babel Rooftop Bar, leaving you revitalized and ready for the day ahead.

  1. Say goodbye to stress

Join us for a unique workshop with stress management expert and health coach, Simone Hadfield, aimed at helping people to deal with the everyday stresses of life. The session will cover key topics; from good nutrition, supporting the body during stressful periods, understanding sleep cycles and meditation exercises, designed to calm the mind. The Stress Management Workshop takes place on Thursday 7th February at 7pm. Tickets are £25 and can be purchased at www.simonehadfield.com

  1. Give back

For some people, the winter months can be a real struggle. Help us raise some much-needed funds for Northern Ireland depression charity, AWARE, as part of our ongoing charity partnership in 2019. This winter we’re giving customers the option to make a charity donation by paying £1 for large bottles of specially filtered still and sparkling water, served in  Taylor & Clay restaurant and in the Bullitt lobby.

  1. Bag yourself a bargain

Check out Bullitt’s Winter Sale offers and indulge without splashing the cash this winter. We’ve got rooms from £85, three-course meals from £20 per person and two-course meals with cocktails for £20 per person.
