Beer, Cheese & Charcuterie Night

Join Indie Füde (Comber) and Bullhouse Brewing Company (Ards) on Thursday 23rd May at Bullitt Hotel for an evening of local craft beer, cheese and charcuterie.

This event will be hosted by Johnny McDowell, resident cheesemonger at Indie Füde, and Willie Mayne, the young master brewer at Bullhouse. On the night Willie will explain the story behind Bullhouse, his brews, his move into full-time brewing, his love of cans and his fav brew – Notorious PIG, a Maple Bacon Coffee Porter in collaboration with Ispini Charcuterie (Moira) and Haptik (Ards). Willie will be joined by Mr. Ispini himself, Jonny Cuddy, to tell us all about his journey into the world of cured meats, the story behind his tasty meats (including the devilishly good Beer Stix), as well as his recent spate of awards, plus plenty to snack on!

Johnny will add to the night by putting together some neat little pairings with some of the finest Irish cheeses from the Indie Füde cheese bar and give an insight into what’s happening in the exciting world of small-batch cheese making in Ireland.
